Darin
Darin Allred, MD, is my husband, a board-certified orthopedic surgeon in Utah. He is not my fact-checker. He is the surgeon who co-founded the company with me, and the reason the science on this site has citations. He has his own site for his patients at darinallredmd.com and wrote a book on the arthritic knee.
Basal Health
A telehealth metabolic health company that prescribes GLP-1 medicines. Darin and I co-founded it. You fill out an intake online, a licensed clinician reviews it, and you're not charged unless they approve you. If a GLP-1 isn't right for you, they say no. $149 for the first four weeks, then $299 every four weeks, same price at every dose, no membership fee. When I mention Basal anywhere on this site, this is the relationship: I own part of it.
Unlock Strong
A twelve-week lifting program for women in midlife, built with Darin, at unlockstrong.com. $100, once. It is mine, separate from Basal. Darin's patients get it free with a code from his office. Everyone else pays the hundred dollars. The four-page starter and the calculator on that site are free for anyone.
