Free this month: Your Protein Number, the one-page sheet
Work with me

Two things we built, and my picks.

Where I'm selling something, or own part of it, I say so first.

Unlock Strong, the program

Twelve weeks of lifting for women in midlife. Two or three days a week, at home or at the gym, with the sheets to print and the science to read. Built with my husband, an orthopedic surgeon. $100, once. Start with the free four-page starter and see if it's for you.

Basal Health, the clinic

Darin and I co-founded it, so read this as me describing my own company. GLP-1 telehealth. A licensed clinician reviews your intake and you're not charged until they approve you. $149 for the first four weeks, then $299 every four weeks. Same price at every dose. No membership fee. You can stop whenever you and the clinician decide. Not a promise of a number on the scale.

My picks

The things in my kitchen and my gym bag. Some links pay me a small commission at no cost to you. Marked with an asterisk.

  • Chicken breakfast sausage, ButcherBox. 11 g protein per three links.*
  • Collagen peptides. Good for skin, does not count toward your protein number.*
  • Creatine monohydrate, plain, five grams a day.*
  • My supplement dispensary: Allred Metabolic on Fullscript.*

Links go live once Lori adds them. Nothing here is medical advice.
